For more than 25 years, Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT), Geralynn Cada developed signature training techniques that provide insight to pet owners about their pets’ needs and behavior through private sessions, workshops and classes. These positive reinforcement training techniques engage and connect pets and owners on everything from obedience behavior modification to separation anxiety. In addition, Geralynn trains and certifies service, therapy and assistance dogs.
Beyond her gift connecting and enhancing the relationship between owners and pets, Geralynn is a member of APDT and IAACB, a Licensed American Kennel Club (AKC) Judge and Canine Good Citizen Evaluator. In 2018, PetAge Magazine awarded her with the Pet ICON Award for her commitment to helping pets and pet owners.
Geralynn is a partner and Chief Meowing and Barking Officer at SmarterPaw, in Lenexa, Kansas which INC magazine recognized as a top 500 fastest growing company in the USA, and the 2nd fastest growing company in Kansas in 2020.
Geralynn is the Kansas City KCTV5 pet expert, cohost of Dog Hugs, and has been featured on ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, and 5000+ media outlets internationally.
Geralynn lives in Overland Park, KS and shares her life with her Aussie/Border Collie Mix, KCMO, and her Border Collie, Senna.
